Whilst the whole of the country was in a state of trance [at least apparently ] talking about Justice and all the rule of law during the Lawyers Movement, the Antagonist as well as the Protagonist both knew that no change can be called a change when associated with a person. We are dealing with people who are normal as anyone should be, we all are sinners, and we all have had our dark alleys where we bargain our ethics and our norms.

Paksitan today is on the verge of a paradigm shift.. we have heard this cliché’ before as well not once not twice but this very cliché’ is the beginning of the speeches of all our politicians. but they fact is that words become meaningless when repeated too often as a lie.

Speaking of the paradigm shift, The nation had never before witnessed the GREAT GAME in its application; our foreign policy is lame and our enemies are not even shy of showing their very faces to the people of this country and we are busy collecting and begging dollars in the name of God knows what and even having the audacity to call it a victory for Pakistan and its friends. Really US is a friend? but friends don’t put conditions Mr. President , ok you may answer Mr. Foreign Minister after all you were praised for your level headed attitude with Holbrooke. Do you really think this is the right way to lead our country…and the Answer is NO.

Taliban are out and shining just like the sun [in Malakand , Mohmand , Orakzai,and some pockets of Kurram and Khyber Agency, and Waziristan ] and they can venture about anywhere that will be easy to TRY at least. Swat deal is bound to fail because Taliban are not in Sufi Muhammad’s Control, after what will happen to their glamorous outfits and those heroic patrolling of the streets their masters outside the border will continue lending their support till and when they can
I happen to live in Karachi, where according to some Taliban are just about to knock our doors too , for over a week a new violence spree has been witnessed by karachiites much to their horror , and its not even mentioned in mainstream media. Why because Baluchistan is witnessing a shutter down strike, NWFP has its own issues, FATA is being managed by armed forces in the best way possible, and Punjab is still being negotiated for the places where to sit in opposition or Provincial Cabinet.

Be it politicians or people in main stream media ,analysts or Former Civil Services officer every one talk about war on terror and the role of Post Soviet Afghanistan war in Pakistan linking it with the current situation in Pakistan, but only few tend to actually define the problem that actually invited and continues its invitation for a foreign intervention and a weakened state of writ – The fact that we are yet to witness a leadership that takes its responsibility for its actions and future goals.

Taliban are no different from these very politicians in the manner that they don’t care for ordinary lives and humanity, their goal is to establish a writ of their own. A Principle that might is INDEED right, they can be foreign aided, some of them may be even foreigners as well but not all, most of them belonged to the same society we live in, deprived of all the necessities that shape up a man in to human. They are no scholars therefore their version of Islam is of entirely different nature than that of the one led by Prophet Muhammad SAW.People of this country want Justice, and Peace and Equality for All, I repeat Justice, Peace and Equality in that very order.


This Battle may become a battle of two villains – Taliban and Politicians, anarchy will be further augmented for a while but from an optimist point of view this may pave way for those who were never able to serve this country because of a corrupt system in place.

Yet another system of Injustice may overwhelm and prevail upon the VALID excuse of non existance of even a hint of Justice.only to be replaced ultimately by the true guardians of law and Sharia in the end..Wishful thinking .why not ..Every storm and every revolution has a price..
